I ordered this because it was mentioned in another thread. It's more context and philosophical before getting to the science, but that makes it a more interesting read. Smith has a unique perspective from his career and help driving t

Pixar Story and Droid Makers are great books about the early days of animation. Pixar was the hardware/software group for early computer graphics at ILM, but Lucas needed money and sold the group to Jobs. They then go on to make Toy St

This is a significant problem to solve. How do you think they will build the task force to build a plan? As a product manager, I am terrified this is a class he what would it take to build this and a complex answer would come back that make

"Free" not the angle to compete for sure. Strava already has a really good free version. Premium (paid) users are only 2-3% of their user base.

Thanks for this article and hit me really hard. My mom passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago. She was just starting to enjoy retirement and time being a grandmom. Her journals were note books and mostly documents of what she had done in

Very similar experience here. It's been crushing to see how the remote is just draining for the kiddos. Seeing glimpses of hope and growth, but still painful at the same time.

I'm glad Atlassian is calling attention to this, but I'd love to see them incorporate tools and features into their products that could help identify and measure these recommendations. Most of the data is there, but we just need t

This is such and understated break through in animation technology. It help the create better shots, but helped distribute pieces of development. It's not unlike what the tech department did at ILM. They used technology to help create

A great reminder that everyday we do learn something and should be thoughtful about documenting it. We often move to fast to realize that what we discovered, to get something down, is unique. Thanks for sharing and keep it up!
