I’ve tried a few college treats like Hot Pockets and found they are really terrible. I was a bit ashamed that I could have possibly enjoyed something that bad. The upside of shrinkflation is that you actually may have had great taste, it wa

Thanks I’ll look into that. The past few months I’ve had really suspicious downvoting so I’ve been suspicious.

Not sure why I’m getting downvoted. It’s true, and on topic? It’s also relevant, with all the discussions about owning your own media. Weird.

i’ve tested it , that’s how i found out. If you run your dns it’s easy. Set licensing.xboxlive.com to 0.0.0.0 . The entitlement only lasts a few days. If the online check fails and you’re otherwise online, it gets revoked . Nearly all DRM

If you are offline, it will work for a few days that’s right. If you are online, and the rights service is failing, it will revoke your key. The trouble is, you would have to know about the outage first and go offline before attempting to p

Every modern media disk since DVD has had revocable DRM . That means you have never owned the disks. (Only Audio CDs and laser disks were owned digital media). With games, a synchronous right’s check is made every time you insert the disk

There doesn’t have to be a statute that says “ you can’t raise your price more than x %” . That’s what common law means. The judge determines whether the contract between them was upheld in good faith. Now if the contract says “every 5 yea

Not exactly. We’re a common law country, and there is an implied covenant of good faith. It’s for a judge to decide if this price change counts as good faith. OP should file a complaint and let a judge decide.
