But Kubernetes secrets are stored - and by default transmitted amongst managers - in plain text. And Kube will share secrets with all kubelets, no questions asked. They're not "secrets".

Island by Huxley is also a fantastic book with great social commentary on the west vs. an idealistic society. It's interesting to see, for example, his early take on preventative vs curative medicine in "modern" society, or

I don't understand how kubernetes solved your base image issue. That's a clustering system, so by default it can't help. It sounds as though your setup doesn't work with the immutable filesystems introduced by docker. Th

This has been out for around 5 years. I remember installing this at an ad agency I worked at when HTML5 ads were barely a thing. At this point they probably have a small team working on it for sake of their ad division but people here shou

There's `webpack.LoaderOptionsPlugin` which allows backwards compatibility, generally solves the problem. One word of warning: LoaderOptionsPlugin _may_ mess with "context", so you should always redefine it in each plugin op

Aren't secrets stored unecrypted in kube? I'd hesitate to call them secrets, though config looks good.

This part: https://cloud.google.com/trace/docs/zipkin#configure_zipkin_... It doesn't show zipkin configuration :)

With Zipkin and OpenTracing you can force spans to be recorded despite the sampling, so if you know something errors (middelware, catches etc.) you can almost guarantee that you'll record your trace if you set things up correctly.

This is awesome! Can Google update the docs so that the links for external zipkin integrations work? They currently link in circles and there's no info on how to integrate into OpenTracing/Zipkin

And Stackdriver is Zipkin compatible, which is awesome. X-Ray doesn't seem to support Zipkin nor Opentrace which is limiting.

You're assuming a future with one app; Tesla. There are, and will continue to be, more apps, hence competition. And we'v not covered that the dynamics are different. With Tesla you're not paying for fuel. Or for human time.

Why? You'll earn the same money as with Uber. The cut goes to Tesla to reward them for their work in making the hardware and software. That's instead of paying Uber, who fire people by email.
