I concur. He also says " The upstream power decreased by 1.5db indicating that the transmitted signal was being seen more clearly now" but that is inaccurate. A cable modem's upstream power level has nothing to do with noise.

As a new food truck owner I can relate to this article. I'm in a different situation because my truck is more of a hobby than a job, but I do want it to pay for itself. As such we focus more on festivals, special events, and catering. Even

I agree. The entire concept is about trying to be less invasive in the web browsing experience (by adding a popup instead of redirect the entire web session) but that all falls apart because of crappy JavaScript.

This is probably part of their "Web Notifcation System". They have a published RFC talking about how it works (RFC6108). Using that system they can selectively notify customers. Like if they detect your system is infected with a virus. O

Yep, we are in Lebanon. We have full time "real" jobs so this is just a weekend gig. Our primary focus is going to be local events (Blues fest, country feat, etc.) but we will also be selling on non-event weekends too. We will also be doin

Thanks for the interest! Not quite yet. We just got the truck and are making some minor changes and getting a full wrap on it. We also have ordered a custom smoker so we are waiting for that to finish up. We hope to be up and running in ea

Doesn't look like this has anything to do with an exploit. It is because some older web servers who don't support TLS also don't support compression. See: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=31628

The DSCP values have nothing to do with the bandwidth cap. DSCP is just a "flag" on the packet and most internet routers don't look at that at all. I would also be very shocked if DSCP has anything at all to do with the way Comcast is cal

It doesn't cost you more money at all. When you transfer a domain the expiration date is increased by at least a year (more if you chose so). You do not double pay for the time that is remaining. It is basically renewing just with a diffe

Your exactly right. Search for the same product using google shopping and it shows the higher price.

Don't blame Bing. It is the store that is deciding to charge you a higher price. I have seen this several times, on both newegg and Buy.com. Normally the "add to cart to see price" type items are cheaper if you don't do the bing cash back
