I wouldn't limit django patches to just being new features. Ample room for incremental improvements. There are some parts of django core that are stable, but fundamentally broke for non-trivial apps. Let's just take /admin: -

I've tried AWS amplify and some cloudflare pages. I'm looking into some of those others for gatsby / next.js hosting. For gatsby sites and webpack apps, I did ultimately figure out and simplify my s3 / cloudfront deploy

Love TypeScript. tsc by itself is amazingly fast. Writing stuff in TypeScript has huge benefits, you can still publish your packages so they work in plain-old ES. Interfaces that define structure of objects go a long way to reign in a codeb
