Plus it is the case with hg (but I guess also with git) that you can use any merge tool to merge your files. Once someone write such a tool, everyone profit! (My understanding is that it happens too rarely in practice to make it worth the e

I don't think accounts are deleted, if you read the article it only talks about suspension (of the Google+ profile).

Yeah, and people can already link to their twitter from their profile page. So this shouldn't be needed, a simple crawler should be sufficient.

Interesting. It's also nice to see that Mercurial got this right from the start (it is not generation numbers, but the rev numbers can be used in the same way to stop the exploration). Some mistakes were made while designing Mercurial, this

FYI, it's a 3500 attendee camp. It is also almost sold out (presale currently), so if you plan to attend and don't have a ticket, now is a good time.

From what I have seen, the Plus beta is quite different in term of handling the feedback. (e.g. community managers getting involved in discussions, etc.)

I think you can add people (by mentioning them, which means everyone will be aware of it). To remove people from the post, the only option I've found is deleting the post.

Maybe you should report it to Google, in case they are not aware (via the feedback button). You could also raise the issue to a community manager: https://plus.google.com/109895887909967698705
