I did SRE for years. A lot of time it would end up being DNS or routing somewhere outside of our control. Sometimes a disk would get close to filling up and a cron would clear it just in time so you would see decreasing performance then it

I would not want to be on that list. If it does tank they were part of it. Hopefully somewhere in the twitter headquarter they are yelling at him to stop. It would be great once times passes to hear their side.

Oh I agree with you. I read somewhere there was a war room. It is hard to reconcile that though with the actions. The actions are bad and seemingly not well thought out. I hope there is someone advising him maybe he is just not listening.

The problem is really just him. Had he hired an adult and done all of those changes with some thought instead of what he did I doubt anyone would have batted an eye. It does seem like they were heavy with staff but that reduction could have

Yup yup. I should not have lead with you are wrong. But the blue check mark is really how most people (myself included) decide if a source is real on twitter. And that was destroyed this week by someone who apparently does not actually unde

You are so wrong. The ONLY way to authenticate someone on twitter has been those check marks. And this week that all went to hell. It is the same thing on tiktok they have verified accounts and I know that someone at tiktok verified this is

He should be out of day to day running of twitter. Hire someone. Hire an adult. He can use twitter (he did buy it) but pay an adult to deal with it. He is clearly out of his element. Bring back vine or some other short video type thing. Bac

He should have bought parler. I made that comment some what tongue in cheek on another story but it really is true. His people are Qanons. I will not stay on twitter either as it descends towards the redpill. I am not alone apparently.

paying 8 dollars for a checkmark is also a bad idea... putting trump back on twitter is also a huge bad idea... he is full of bad ideas and will bring twitter down with most of them though I like the idea of bringing vine back.

I would like to know my options. I have been on twitter for a long time and I have a lot of good people that I like to follow. And I imagine a good portion of them are also looking for options. No one wants to be on a platform where the CEO
