I dump my coins in a jar when I get home and we have $1 and $2 coins (Australia). It's really not that big a deal having your minimum purchase price of things be $5. Your coin jar will get >$1000 in it reasonably quickly too which i

Hey this is really nice. I tried to get into Erlang from reading Armstrongs book (Programming Erlang) and just couldn't grok it. I think the later chapters of that get a bit more 'concrete' and start making real things but I

The Fuelband is always lauded by the whole advertising / digital creative agency business as proof they can move beyond campaign work and actually make product. Which they all desperately want to do, but their business model is poorly

All these points are fine but theres no reason to flat out lie about the quality of Mavericks.... 1) Keyboard shortcuts are fine, if u use a OSX all day every day you will think Windows shortcuts are bad. That and you can edit pretty much e

Saying good apps are not made using IB, and that its not suitable for real use, sounds like FUD to me too :) Sure you need to leave IB sometimes (or a lot of the time - depending on the app), but if you are coding every little view by hand.

We have heaps of people where I work that do exactly that. CSS all day long without any code (or maybe the occasional bit of jQuery). I couldn't think farthing would rather do less, but whatever ;)

I do agency work in Australia and pretty much every app I've ever made cracks a top 10 list in Australia briefly. It's really not that many downloads to get there. Getting any traction in the US though seems to be much more diffic

You could still disable them via the notification centre settings in Settings.app. I think what the OP is saying is not to remove the permissions settings totally, but just to have it 'default to on'. The way it works now is so many people
