The purist. I am just adding high quality content because I think I'm better off directly charging for my content rather than going the ads-route. I hate ads. I (and probably everybody else on this platform) sees as the greates-valued

This renders me speechless. Admittedly, my initial comment sounds a bit sarcastic, we were joking in the office here, but I was really impressed actually. But now I am speechless. I have to try that when I come home.

Interesting, I am not the only one. Additionally for me, its also pretty expensive to host domains for all my startup-ideas on gmail. I know, it's just $5/user/mo, but if you run 20-30 "fun ideas" it adds up... So

Hey, thanks for the hint with Fastmail. I was actually looking into it, but have the same problem as before with Gsuite. Running 10 different domains with two or three people usually then means a fixed expense of $5 x10 x2 = $100/month

Interesting concept. I am keeping a stack of a few million screenshots from the newscombinator, but I am not using it. Actually I thought about deleting them recently because I found the concept of having full-screen screenshots pretty bad.

Do I see that right that the first color picture is from 1969 on that whole list of exhibitions [1]? Even tough the color photography is available to anybody since the early 1900s [2]? Is there a reason for that? Is it a choice of art? [1]

I see your rant here, and I say this to all our developers who do not want to go mainstream. You write your own code, very performance driven, fine with that. That doesn't really work well in a team. Hire new people, tell them "ye
