And they're not doing it, so they will be replaced. There's always someone willing to step up.

While the UI was part of it, a big reason people didn't like it was that corporations had their own accounts and were posting directly in the feeds. That's something that integrated into reddit Reddit a number of years ago, first

They removed that filter a long time ago, so "never" didn't quite stick. You took a screenshot of an issue from 2020.

Between this and the reddit blackout, "volunteer" mods doing free work for a company are really overstating their importance. The cons don't outweigh the goods. It's why I like the Fediverse: I control what I can see on

There's a number of places out there, some of which also support alternatives to Git itself as mentioned in the article. By no means a complete list and in no particular order: GitLab - https://about.gitlab.com/ Source

You're not having an honest discussion here, trying to spin this as if Brave gives the user more choice. What we're talking about Braves built in ad blocker and ad scheme. Users like myself in this thread have a right to call out

Yes, as many have parroted this defense the ad system is off by default. However, when you turn it on, it's effectively replacing the ads, and extorting content creators to say "if you want a piece of the Brave ecosystem, you need

I'm guessing you consider Google/Microsoft a competitor to Brave. Google I might get, Microsoft I don't. Neither consider Brave any real threat. Another commenter said "romantic view" - I think that applies here.
