I don't like that we can't question this story because it's fictional . It has legs because of the way it is written, but no one can jab or poke at it without the obvious " well, it's just a story, man " line. I hate outs like that. It's

We seem to be making one conversation out of 2 points. Point one: The video is nonsense, Point two: Will Glass be successful? Video: I agree that it should have been anchored to current reality, like the Google Plus and self-driving car vid

It really depends on the implementation. You're assuming that all of the functionality has been revealed. For example, it's not completely out of the question that their technology will b, in part, completely mapped and trained co-ordinates

I love this kind of social experiment. There are a few theories as to why this resulted in a higher CTR. The obvious ones to me are: 1) "Look at the pretty picture!!" 2) "What the hell? EA is allowing this ad? Did they make it? I gotta see

This is tough because I started as a designer who just wanted to make sure my designs worked like I wanted - hacking together what I could find. I slowly developed an understanding of Javascript pre-jQuery, so I was learning the DOM because

I think if RIM was an Asian-based company, that might hold true. RIM's culture is tied to North America. Developers for their platform are mostly in North America/Europe. When there's no apps, there's no users - eventually.

One area I really want to see this take off in is Medicine. As someone who had suffered from an unknown illness (no doctor could figure it out), I can rationalize how such a system would have been helpful. You see a bit of this with WebMD's

RIM is mercy to the fatal inability to self-reflect and be self-critical. As an iPhone user, just looking at a Blackberry is cringe-inducing. I'm not a Blackberry fan, so I don't know what the latest, greatest is, but I've tried a Bold an

Similarly. I then thought it was because I was so wound up all the time that maybe this relaxation was what other people experienced as a normal attribute of their life. Turns out this is not the case.

Part of me wants to accept this information, but I am worried that some kind of Freakonomics will come into play and we'll find that the reason why there appears to be less poor is because X is no longer being considered as Y.
