I was testing why we go some wrong information from a database and hand writing some SQL. It didn't work and the issue was not immediately obvious, so I pasted it into chat gpt with a very carefully chosen prompt and it told me immedia

Jesus that’s unbelievable. How do you not just read your legislation and what can we sneak into Australian law without them watching?

The first part of the book is super slow and boring, but it does get much better later on and what they setup is necessary for the story.

I read Cryptonomicon, then the Baroque Cycle, then Cryptonomicon (or a long period of years) which has nice tie-ins to each other. However I disliked Reamde enough that I didn't start Fall. Is it better?

At some point Netflix started to compress really dark scenes to be bands instead of gradients - which wouldn't have been that much of an issue, but it also happened when the movies started to do a lot more with dark scenes.

I was watching Netflix family Robinson but in space and stopped after an episode that was basically and ad for oreos. Product placement can be done well, but 90% of everything is crap.

That will depend on how easy it is to get visas to countries with more desirable regulations. As for the other point, I still don't think Anthropic is available in the EU. Bard wasn't available at launch either.

There is an actual market for buying IPv4s, meanwhile you can get millions of IPv6 addresses for free. This means that connecting the next billion will be much cheaper if they don't have to compete with companies with far more money. S

Its not just that - if we want to be competitive then it should be possible for a hacker to offer a new type of idea and let the world try it out - perhaps a decentralized web, or planet scale IPFS, or something that yet only exists in the

I probably wouldn't want to use an open source project without builds (unless it was trivial to build, such as a node project with npm). Not saying anybody have to provide me with anything, just pointing out the obvious.

This really needs to be an EU-wide thing, and a lot sooner. Two years till it becomes illegal to offer something on IPv4 for the general public and not offer it on IPv6, two more years and no ISP may route IPv4. Also no ISP NAT bullshit. A
