Sorry, sarcasm doesn't translate well over text. The tone of the sentence seemed to me to imply that some day the Apple Watch would be a hit, but I'm skeptical.

Good point! This is an important distinction - to put it a little more simply, music theory tends to be more the study of the craft of music than the study of the science of music.
