I jailbroke my ipod touch yesterday and struggled to find anything good. SSH is kinda dull, SBSettings, Adblock and a few other basic things are the most useless and ugliest apps I have. This article does point out a few things - some busin

I wouldn't bother learning a language that isn't of general use, I also wouldn't learn an odd/heavily-non-standard language within the first or five (so you don't learn bad habits). As I understand VB and Basic are common examples of this.

Oh? I kind of see it as the US gov have already been throwing their weight around, and the spare tire is hitting us all. Didn't Darpa recently not want to completely give up power over the internet, allowing something like this to happen?

Well yes.. If you think of Google as tape libraries[1] and your brain as RAM, then the difference is many orders of magnitude. Brain memory boosters would be like having SSDs on thunderbolt (possible in computing, not in brain surgery). It

I wouldn't buy that because I'd either use a VNC, or rip the DVD. I also wouldn't buy anything with such reasonable negative reviews. Air Video is for videos in general, so it is what people will look for. I'd suggest moving on.
