The website has a pre-5 image. The app name is not search friendly (but then nor is the app store), found it with musi roklor. Re-searches too soon, I had to type quick to not see it flash something for a split second. No indication if the

Offer for the user to make a certificate or personal salt, have them email it to themselves and put it in dropbox and backup their iPhone. Use that and a salt from you in a two-way hash.

Are the translational grammar of latin based languages such that you could just add more reserved words? If we were to add for/if/etc for other languages that use our alphabet, would it be just one word each time? Would an imperfect single

I'm fearing this could be the new <marquee> or <blink>, or because iPods (and iPads?) don't have vibrate it won't be used.

Possible side effect: Change in business privacy? Say Foxconn are the contractor, a product leak in the factory's first year might be a lot more chase-able than one in China, but also a lot more inevitable. Will there be robot-only zones fo

I'm also put off, though I'm thinking of going for maxed out Mini plus Cinema Display. I wonder why they're doing this with desktops. Having a MBA in a upright stand [1] isn't the look to be aiming for with desktops, even all-in-ones. Ram u

I'll do what I do now, cook/prepare as much of what I eat as possible, bought from markets where possible. I don't care about organic or not, I care about needless additives and lost nutrients because it was prepared a week ago in a factory

I don't understand, they aren't meant to be a dumb pipe? Paying purely for data means we don't pay for the marked up services like texts and calls.

I only spotted this because of the 'get' word in the url, compare the title to https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4620006 Funny considering the large text says engaging experts. It's Quora + influence + amplify? I don't like to hear amp

People are wanting to run away from Twitter, with various options. People aren't running away from MSN, they are running to its replacements such as facebook messenger

Because this is the first year I've heard of App.net and so many things nowadays fail once its had a moment of popularity? Tent is an improvement on twitter, which we want. Jabber is an improvement on msn which noone is running away from.

Google did something to cause Apple to do this, as well as Apple already reducing their use of Google, and it's all private. Childish things would include talking in public.

How well does this take in information from other similar things in Facebook? The Guardian is the paper I see most in my feed, does Lookmark take note of those?

1. If you had a body fat % of under 25 (for men, 35 for women) then you'd be more productive purely because by getting there and staying there you'd be eating better and so on. The energy this gives is immense. Think about children who eat

It's more of a 'stop our users words making us suable' rather than 'don't curtail our users rights, especially free speech' effort, but I can't think of any serious differences. There will be some.

The numbers I heard a while was something like after first use uranium is 95-97% power, can be reused down to 15-25%. I haven't heard anyone getting this far with it, or even predictions of how radioactive it would be then.

Fukushima was a freak event in an old power station with inadequate sea defences. Simply building another 2m on top of the wall would have been enough until the station lost its licence due to age.

In every sentence I've seen this week that contained Apple and Foxconn the sentence becomes so much better and fairer when you replace Apple with 'Foxconn customers (Microsoft, HP, Dell, Apple, Samsung and others)'.

That's annoying blindness. I'm considering a contract that (for the 4S as the latest) is £900 in total, I'd happily go without a case and be prepared to pay £200 for a break.

You bought them a whole year ago, is that year of an app in the app store not easily paying $300 for a new ipod? They wouldn't announce it that far ahead, it'd stop people buying the then current version.

What you bought are still useful devices with all the bugs the Simulator doesn't represent, and then the Simulator for the different screen size. What are you going to move to where you can avoid this?

You bought products, you're a customer. You make products, you're not a customer. You need them more than they need you (unless you're talking about roadblock problems for an insignificant portion of developers.

I don't think intentional really matters, I just said it because of the feelings around Apple. That logo should be illegal, but it shouldn't be used because it's too obvious.

The update, that isn't in the title: It may actually be the logo. The logo has the leaf in exactly the same place, and the h is similar to the missing bite of the apple. The h being there looks fairly ugly, it does seem intentional to me.

When would? iPhone sales are very predictable, strong now and coming up to Christmas (plus any other major contract ending time that I'm not aware of). If you're aiming to be flattering to one side it's too easy.
