Wow, every time I see this site I am blown away by how well it is done. I am going to put a couple of book titles out there in case somebody doesn't know about them and could benefit: 1.) "The NURBS book" -- Anybody got this

My mistake then. I did not intend to try and be so precise. I was thinking loosely. I have a very simple autodiff tool hand rolled (in Python) here to play with. I raise 0 to a negative exponent in the gradient of the cube root at 0.

This is really a nice thing to put out there. I want to add that AD (automatic differentiation) can be a great jumping off point to other things. (It sure was for me in my studies anyway) Here is the path I followed (though I am sure th

The differentiation of a fractional power (fraction less than 1.) involves a negative fractional power. 0 raised to some negative power involves dividing by zero. This gives you some kind of NAN in, e.g., vanilla languages such as Python.

Are there Quantum Applications & SDK positions open? I am planning to apply within the week. (PhD engineering - optimization for my thesis, lots of hydrodynamics at school and work. I started life in aerospace incidentally) Also, I&#

My take on miniKanren is that it's implementation is designed to be small and hackable. Especially small with microKanren. If you don't know scheme/lisp, but want to roll your own for educational purposes, then check this
