What has your mother to do with this? Have you read Swiss laws on the subject? Have you followed the news about Swiss email surveillance? You can't go around promoting a service based on a countries privacy laws, when those laws are in

This isn't bit rot. It's ridiculous to remove a product because it got minor media attention. They are ashamed of their own history and have no sense for public relations. Many successful companies build museums and archives, supp

Nothing stops you from milling and turning plastic. Not only that, there are many heat resistant plastics on the market that are far stronger than some poorly bonded ABS.

Yes it has. Being German, please google it. The Sonderkommando was a special group of prisoners at Auschwitz who had to prepare and cleanup the extermination of millions of prisoners. Their job was to carry the dead from the gas chambers in

The court follows the EC Directive for legal protection of computer programs, specifically Article 6. Every EU country should have laws in place that allow for reverse engineering within certain limits. See page 4 [PDF]: http://e

No way. I have no idea how mAh are measured in a lab, but they are certainly not in relation to 1V. To get Wh, multiply by voltage. 2.6Ah * 1.2V = 3.1Wh. 8Ah * 4V (one cell is my assumption) = 32Wh. The battery has 10x the capacity of a NiM

That is the reasoning I've heard (read on the ML) from nvidia employees working on said driver.

The nv driver exists for the single purpose of getting into a working desktop, so one can install the proprietary driver. It is not intended as decent 2D-only driver or anything like that.

Zazzle fears the cost of going to court, even if it looks like a certain win. That's a general problem with the US legal system, and would be worth protesting about more than any NSA scandal combined. Discrimination of the poor from ac

You can buy your own space age gold foil from many places as "rescue blanket". Quite cheap, around $3 for an adult sized sheet. I've used it to insulate south-facing windows in summer. It's phenomenally effective.

Concentration camp (KZ) sounds about right. The term for places like Dachau and Auschwitz is Vernichtungslager (extermination camp). A concentration camp is not set up for industrial mass-murder of its prisoners.

Voratsdatenspeicherung has nothing to do with the secret services. It is a tool for the police they can access with a warrant. The BND is not complaining that this is currently ruled unconstitutional, they are simply not affected.
