It’s not a RENDERME & using badges and many other images makes it harder to actually read content. If you really want them, badges could be added with the specific settings in GitLab for them, and SourceHut you could attach them in the

If you block third-party fonts or Google Fonts specifically—and you should for privacy—this whole tool doesn’t work. Prefer first-party hosting, and always provide a native fallback (at minimum sans-serif, serif, monospace, or fantasy).

I was too busy being in various forms of ‘time out’ for ‘acting up’ out of boredom to be in class enough. Eventually I just gave up by age 11 and just doodled in the back of the room knowing there was nothing I could do to change my situati

I migrated back to X11 for color management and have followed the Wayland issue for it on the Freedesktop GitLab forge for years so this is great to see. Now if only Steam would support 10-bit color instead of crashing on launch.

Have you considered a different host or at least mirroring elsewhere?

Best thing you can do now is start porting projects over elsewhere leaving history behind on that platform pointing users to the new home/mirrors. You could also consider a different license. I hope the FSF comes up with an exception l

If it wasn’t for employment opportunities using the proprietary service, I wouldn’t notice the outages because my own code was migrated elsewhere after the forge was acquired–but until these companies migrate, mirror, and/or distribute

The new search? You can't even use search on source code without being first authenticated, which requires signing up for an account.

When will Bun open up communications to something open source/decentralized instead of relying on users to give up their online security to Discord?

Microsoft GitHub has access to all the commits you force pushed away or branch you deleted. We have no reason to believe that it’s actually gone with no transparency and the source code being closed.

I think we need other UI models instead of everything mature being object-oriented-oriented. Doing UI work in FP (or FRP) is great in many aspects until you need to integrate with these OO models like the DOM, et.al. Direct integration or a
