It really depends on your investment strategy. That's the real problem with actually moving the company to the US. At the time this post was written we didn't have any investment, so it probably wouldn't have killed us to set up a Delaware

If something's going to go wrong in big uncontrollable way, it's most likely going to be in (or coming out of) a corner. These races should see fast turns being made way outside of the viewing area. Quite simply, an aircraft should never be

Just change that one line "He was right. I got the job, they paid, things went well, nobody got sued." to "He was wrong. I got the job, they didn't pay, things went horribly wrong, everybody go sued".

I think exceptional customer support is one of the most critical and yet most overlooked aspects of running a startup. It's how you turn customers into fans, and fans is often the difference between winning and losing. Through our previous

Fortunately, like a good interface, it is immediately and clearly obvious what the function of the article is. I think it's safe to say that any mechanical engineers that may have read this article were smart enough to realise that the targ

So a multi-billion dollar behemoth that uses your image without your permission in an advertisement for a product that you don't support is a "minor, and ultimately inconsequential, annoyance", but a tiny little startup has a typo on an ERR

The thing I like about Zerply is finding people to work with. Which is kinda the point of a professional network when you think about it. It's only fairly new, but I think the value will come from endorsements more than connections. If you'

To quote another phrase, "there's no such thing as a free lunch". Free-to-air TV is only "free" because the TV network is selling your eyes to someone else. Radio is only free because they're selling your ears to someone else. Even my own s

I think it's less of a name issue, and more of a customer engagement issue. If your customers can't remember your name, you're not talking to them enough. Doesn't matter how light weight your app is. Having said that, I'm not sure why the O

We're actually building this sort of tool. http://bugherd.com At the moment it is a more traditional bug tracker, but the side widget is designed to accept anonymous feedback in this sort of form as well (coming soon).

I've been a .NET developer for close to 10 years. Our last product (UsabilityHub.com) was written in .NET simply because it is what I know. In reality it doesn't matter how good .NET is, there are two reasons why we didn't use it for our la
