Purists like me would do to a simple text editor (in my case Sublime) and command line tools.. Anyway.. I will give it a try... it's nice to have a competitor IDE to xCode, although they don't look like targeting the same audience

Yeah, that is right. A bug can only be fixed once it has been found.. the question now is whether the rate of bugs found is greater than the rate of insertion of new bugs (which I guess is proportional to the number of new lines of code).

If you can afford data and computing power, dpl is the way to go... you don't need to think much to get the thing done quickly.. but in my eyes , having a suitable mathematical description to a particular problem always give you useful
