Oracle will just keep getting the sources from whatever the easiest way is and wont give a damn about Red Hat ToS or EULA.. IBM can go after then in court if they want but they know that Oracle has pockets just as deep as IBM to fight them

it already does.. you need an valid license to use DNF.. you can even get the RHEL install ISO but you will not get updates unless you active a license.. but some cloud providers offer vm with the license already in place, they pay the lice

unfortunately a lot of software used by companies is RHEL only.. If you need the software and does not want to pay red hat the derivatives are the only option..

they themselves never created an account in red hat site, that would require then to accept either the ToS or the EULA.. They spined up an VM in some service that started an red hat image with the required license already in place for that

The thing is, wording is everything.. In today world everything is a subscription and so is Red Hat.. You buy a subscription from Red Hat and it give you access to a number of RHEL installations as well as related material like the sources

From what i understood everything in CentOS Stream end up in RHEL, but not everything that is in RHEL came from CentOS Stream. They pull changes from other sources that are not in CentOS Stream and this is the challenge.

No, there is no new restriction.. GPL say what rights you have and what Red Hat can sue you for, not what Red Hat need to give you in the future. You have the right to change and share the sources and Red Hat cannot sue you for that if you
