"I became more and more “aggressive” about reducing the scope and focusing on the essentials; still, I didn’t want to forget about code quality." After reading all of it, it seems to me that the problem is right there. Security, m

Agencies wouldn't use it if it didn't rank on search engines. If the sites where of specific categories where user-interaction is required (login required), it would give a hugely different image.

There are content-writing AI's which you almost cannot tell is not written by a human, I would be surprised if an automated crawler would be able to tell the difference when humans barely can. I've even seen agencies use these too

No, it isn't, it's marketing spam and automated. The sites stay around for a year on cheap domains and re-appear in a new suit the year after. This will continue as long as search engines continue to favor Wordpress.

You're right, that's why I added GDPR/Data control might be an issue. If you read it again, you can see I'm talking about management of security, not the legal issues of it.

There's a lot of advantages to API-first. 1. You're not bound to one supplier, you can integrate multiple. 2. You don't need to manage the security for a large application, instead, the responsibility is distributed to each A

It really is too bad that GPU drivers are closed and hard to re-implement in HaikuOS, the performance and resource management seems awesome compared to the current "bloated" operating systems.

Why invest time and money in your platform, instead of an established one like Cloudflare and their new Workers platform? Features are similar, especially when combined with Cloudflare Access (50 users free).

The Kasita modules doesn't look that bad, it's very thought through. Especially the construction, which they say is like car assembly to dramatically get the costs down. I'm guessing, like any housing, power, water and drain

There were a few system breaking bugs in Big Sur beta and also a security breaking one that circumvent the firewall/sandbox for apps. It looks like 11.1 that's in RC now, address the known bugs, I'm actually impressed at how

While Fabric is certainly cool and I'd love to dig into it, not having any inclination of the pricing makes it impossible to know which client-base they are after. I'm guessing those that have grown out of Magento/WooCommerce

Semantic-UI [0] is also a well established framework for building up design using css classes and html only. It's been more or less abandoned when the main developer got tired of it though, I really hope the same doesn't happen he

Hm, what devices can we even use with it? Checked the installation and user guide but there's not even a list of devices or any link to one. 1.0 feels a little premature if there's little to no hardware.

That's why I find Haiku OS so fascinating, being able to run on very little RAM and CPU and focusing on desktop only. I hope we come to see even more purpose-focused operating systems in the (near) future.

I had the issue, was related to how APFS keeps deleted data around until it's forced to flush it. It didn't flush it... Had to do a full reinstall to get rid of the issue.

$2,447 per VM? That sounds very high, wouldn't it be cheaper to hire a sysops to handle this if you have many hosts? I get that this is aimed at enterprise, but still sounds exorbitant.
