The question "What guarantee is there that the CCP is not intercepting/backdooring all video communications?" from luminati was towards Zoom, not towards any other orgnization. You might want read the question more carefuly

Rekognition API released similar image to text API and it's much more reliable than this. At least the demo works smooth and response fast. https://rekognition.com/demo/concept

I tested those "cloud face" in the popular face recognition engine rekognition.com. None of them actually got recognized as face. Looks like the face recognition algorithm they uses are pretty smart.
