I use and ask other team members to make draft PRs now (ad-hoc, basically the subject includes "WIP"). #1. PR triggered checks will fire #2. You use the same tools for reviewing and can leave better comments #3. I like PR comments

I use this now, and love the ease of installation and api. If it's up to developers to use Firefox it'd be great to port our test suites.

Driving a small car around the behemoths on American roads can be terrifying. Driving a tiny car is so much worse I wouldn't even consider it... It's about what (and how) other people drive as much as my own tastes

What's the best way to port a puppeteer-based suite to one that uses Firefox? Is there an npm package that will include up-to-date versions of all components without further environment setup or use of external services? Ideally, with

I would actually start with a closed source backend-as-a-service: Firebase. Then you can concentrate on getting your front end. Once you have a great UI add multiple backend support, maybe on ipfs or something super open. Tiddlywiki might b

Agreed, this looks like a great project! Grumpy was supposed to accomplish the same for Python->Go, and although now abandoned, probably holds some lessons in how to design a platform to help Python projects get Rusted. Grumpy compiled

If you just compress the base64, the overhead is 5%. But if you embed within an HTML file, with a different set of character frequencies, that increases. $ cat index.html | gzip -9 | wc -c 14116 $ cat index.html bing.base64 |

Are parked cars also abandoned then? I'm not so sure scooters with GPS tracking and contractors looking for them would be considered abandoned in the eyes of the law, even if they have been left in an unpermitted location.

Cool, going to try this on my Daydream setup right now. Chrome on Daydream presents a super simplified UI. I'd love to be able to open a few tabs, move them around spatially, adjust the size, etc. There is so much potential for improvi

This is a great effort. I hope this takes off and some organizations become vetting entities. It's a lot easier to trust eg Lyft Engineering vetting than Joe Xyz at a glance.

Heroku is more like containers in this list. Your app is packaged up, runs on as many machines as needed, but you pay while it is running even if idle. As soon as the idle state is abstracted away, then it's serverless.

Moto E4 might come close, although it's $100 instead of $250. Moto doesn't modify AOSP very much and the one app it has provides some nice features (shake for flashlight being my favorite).
