Maybe the responsiveness? In a real use case I think you'd want to have a set grid size so responsiveness seems like an odd goal.

> they fear speaking out publicly Are there cases where Apple has retaliated against developers that do speak out publicly? Or is the reticence to go public because they know that any chance of special treatment is worth keeping silent?

Good call. I use this https://github.com/mattkersley/Responsive-Design-Testing too, modified with 1366 x 768 as one of the three "key sizes" to design for.

Damnit! This article fucked up my setup. I just went in and fiddled with Display settings and my 4k TV doesn't show 1:1 scaling anymore. I mean, it's Catalina issue, but still. Tonsky: May your Helvetica always be silently replace

> almost 1% of our profits The article says 1%, his tweet says 1/3... but that seems low! Apple's cut is 30%. To only take 1/3 of profits, costs must only be 10% of revenue... cost of support, advertising, AND development.

Google doesn't seem to be popping up lots of competing businesses in all kinds of verticals like Amazon does (or Microsoft has for a long time). Maybe I'm not seeing it right, but IMO Google seems less predatory than they could be

FWIW enabling designers is one reason I like Vue a lot (as compared to react). With single file components[0], it's quite possible to contribute knowing just html+css. In fact the scoped CSS makes Vue files superior to plain html+css f

I think Keybase does a decent job here. You can invite someone to a team by email, and they need to install the app, pick a username, and follow the join team instructions. It's probably technically not as easy for a one off situation
