Is it really surprising or disappointing it took 'so long'? I think your understanding of how easy it is to locate people is influenced by fiction and dramatization. One man is tiny compared to an entire city. What can you realistically do

It's more the ecosystems than the syntax and semantics. Bundler, gem, pip, npm, blah blah blah. It's a lot of stuff to grok if you want to get anything done in the 'right' way.

Uh you shouldn't be surprised by a red light unless you're cresting a hill (and even then there will usually be a flashing sign indicating a red light up ahead). The yellow light indicates you should start slowing down.

I usually sign up for a bunch of classes just so I can access the material at a later point when I have time or when I'm interested. I'm pretty sure that in most cases Coursera locks you out of old material unless you were enrolled. I don't
