I think it's a good habit, but making it habitual (e.g., daily) is something I'm still working on. :-) I found this document a good start at ideas of what to include in your notes: https://www.webpages.uidaho.edu/m

Interesting to hear Fender described as innovative. Their core products -- Telecaster, Stratocaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass -- have remained mostly unchanged since the 1960s, and Fender fans seem to like it that way. Have they really

I receive lots of such emails. In most cases, I just end up with one series of emails from another person who shares my first initial and last name... such as one person's credit card payment emails, another person's cable televi

You also have to ask, what are you certifying? Currently, the avionics software is certified, not the software engineer. The FAA-delegate safety reviewers get special training, but otherwise a bachelor's degree in a related disciplin

Not sure what's in the curriculum today, but I was taught calculus (20 years ago) heavy on physics applications. I don't think I would have appreciated it as much without that.

I've only been in an Apple Store a few times, and have always thought it a cool store, but just not very practical. At best, I buy a new computer every few years. I kept my first iPad for about five years before getting a new one. I bu

Any suggestions for running a Vue.js application as a local set of files, without running a web server? My use case is slightly more obscure than this, but imagine something like a local, off-network kiosk interface.

Whether robots would materially change that is debatable. Indeed, that is the only thing here I was questioning. :-) If they can’t afford to learn a new trade now, how would losing their current jobs to robots help?

They would be happier being replaced by robots, and having to find something else to do? If so, could they not voluntarily do that now, without robots?

I feel like I could pretty easily be fluent in more natural languages if, as with programming languages, "fluency" included being able to look things up in reference manuals, and if my expression of the language was limited to rea

I would suggest picking one segment of a scene, such as part of mountain, and keep trying until you perfect it. I remember Ross doing a training video along these lines... the resulting painting at the end was not one whole scene, but a b

I still use a 2010 MBP. I think it's at the end of MacOS X support. The battery doesn't last long. Rather than spend money buying a new battery, I should probably replace the whole laptop. But it still works!

A few years ago, the ancient (circa 1998) microwave in my house failed. I merrily trundled off to the local appliance store and bought a new one, and had them install it. Seemed to work, but eventually I realized it must be drawing too much
