This might be a weird criticism but... making photos taken in the dark look like they are not actually dark seems kind of like a weird thing to do? I've struggled with my micro 4/3 camera to capture accurate night photographs, but

Vancouver is most notably home to white supremacy/far right groups. Also, the very thought of commuting across the Columbia river is enough to drive me crazy.

Which is precisely why I do not shop at corporate mega stores that make it impossible for smaller businesses to compete using shady practices to lower prices. Once Amazon or Wal-Mart are the only company left, they will be free to raise the

I'm actually rather happy with the choices that I've made in this economy. I would be much worse off not making these choices - however, almost everything I want is unaffordable....things that I view to be human rights. Whatever y

I'm a systems engineer in Seattle. Thanks to my student loans I can't afford a house, I can't afford to have a child with my wife - thankfully my employer is kind enough to provide health insurance or else I'd probably b

I feel similarly, but if you look at where the DJI and NASDAQ are now compared to where they were in January the year starts to look a lot more bearish. I'm not very well educated in finance though And if anyone wants to correct me or

What better way to fight for states rights than to fight for the rights of the states that, you know, you govern?

That's part of the problem with sites like reddit and exactly what I'm getting at - is it healthy to have forums Where we can air our craziest ideas anonymously? Or maybe should we have to think critically and be kind before doing

Ironic that liberal states such as California and Washington fight the hardest for states rights and are then criticized by conservatives(even in their own states!) for doing so.

A bit off topic, but I lived in Kansas City for a couple years. I heard gunshots almost every night. There were shootings, stabbings on an almost monthly basis down in Westport. The library branch my wife worked at had a bullet go through t

Funny that you're being downvoted. These issues are very real in many parts of the country(other cities have drug problems, expensive housing, homelessness, traffic) and yet SF bears the brunt of these criticisms. Anyway - I agree - I

I think this is super healthy and a really sensible approach - but it does seem unorthodox in today's internet. People see it as a right to say whatever they want to whomever they want, but really should we be able to do that without c
