I don’t know if that’s quite what they meant. I understood it as an “intuitiveness.” I used to work with young adults on the autism spectrum at a ymca camp and the higher functioning folks lacked the ability to intuitively interact with oth

You may be on to something; I will say I have enjoyed the cultural aspects of my west coast jobs very much more so than my east coast and Midwest jobs, but that is not probably some form of bias.

Awesome! Thanks for the links. My family has a 2006 highlander(essentially a v6 Camry suv) which has carted us coast to coast multiple times. We bought it used at 110k miles a few years ago and it is at almost 200k miles now. We enjoy havin

"Why the Camry is such a badass car" would be a great article, as well.

Buying a reasonable used compact car probably costs around 2000$ minimum. And a 2000$ car, no matter how nice, has the potential to require much more $$$ in maintenance when things start breaking. Believe it or not, there are people out the

No, with an unsecured loan I hold the title- not a lien holder(lender). I would probably be taken to court if I defaulted. I think I am fortunate that my credit is good enough to get the loan, however.

I don’t know, just throwing in my anecdote that it was really easy for me to get unsecured credit last week.

I was able to get an unsecured loan with a low interest rate for a classic car within a few hours after I applied.

A milquetoast hit piece of a beautiful city. We’re all aware of SFs problems, not sure why this article is worth even a glance.

Yeah but that’s almost my point; 20k/m is an order of magnitude less than 10 million/month.

Maybe, maybe not. But I think I agree with you- 10m/m is a comically large number(I wonder how many companies spend even 1/100th of that a month on cloud compute?) and I have no reason to believe this person so why would I?

Still, I wish you could see specific years vs this year. For instance there were fewer deaths in Michigan in March of 2020 than in 2019, but I'm sure that would be different if you averaged it over the course of four years.

The pertinent details are that he eats a person's pet in front of the pets owner! His motivations don't matter! His motivations do not absolve him from his actions. No Seinfeld character comes close to this level of sociopathy and

Jez kills the dog. Jez then eats the dog. In front of the dogs owner. No amount of hand waving or interpretation changes that it is what happens in the episode. It is also very dark.

Maybe I misremembered it but your description of the episode doesn’t really refute my argument at all- that’s all far more disturbing than any situation on Seinfeld.

There’s an episode of Peep Show where one of the two main characters kills a dog and then feeds it to his girlfriend- the owner of the dog. Totally different level of dark. It’s a totally different sense of humor actually. Being regrettably

Peep Show is pretty good but a great deal darker than Seinfeld which tends to keep its comedy pretty tame- which in my opinion is what makes it so good.

I never get this comparison. The characters on Seinfeld have completely reasonable and funny criticisms/observations of every day life- the characters on Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia are just boring jerks. Disclaimer; I am a prett
