All the benchmarks I can find are comparing this against the GTX 980. I'm curious how it compares to a 980 Ti.

As I understand it, Bancorp is just contracted by Simple to hold the funds and interface with the banking system. All of the policies, support and user-facing parts are handled by Simple itself. Ally, on the other hand, literally is GMAC.

I disagree about the service being bad. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Simple's support team. Also, they offer a JSON feed of my transactions, which isn't something any of my other banks provide.

Are you running an ad blocker? It seems to interfere with the status checks, since it blocks all traffic to the networks in question. Try temporarily disabling your ad blocker and trying again.

And even if it did... most folks don't have the time or expertise to deploy a Kerberos realm to get encrypted NFS. Remember that classic NFS uses IP addresses to manage access, with no concept of passwords. And all traffic is sent in c

As someone who frequently goes skiing, the recent deployment of RFID scanners at larger resorts is nothing short of amazing: You can reload the passes online, the lift attendants can check everyone's pass just by waving a scanner acros

That might not have been an oversight. Having designed the RFID tag system for a conference before, there's a real cost difference between crypto-capable NFC tags and ordinary ones, once you factor in the number of badges you need to p

Between IoT and the deployment of IPv6 (meaning no more automatic NAT firewalling), I feel like we need to take a fresh look at how home routers are designed. I'd love to see products that provide a user-friendly way to help me audit w

There are two-way radios that support text. Since a lot of newer radios are using digital signalling, it's not hard to add in. Off the top of my head, any of these would work: Amateur radios that have D-STAR (connected to an Android ph

D-STAR is actually an open standard. The only part that's closed is the voice codec (AMBE). But if you just want to transmit or decode data packets, you can definitely build your own hardware. There's even a couple SDR modules for
