Fully agree on the root cause, but not on the solution. We should strive for extremely limited power by our public representatives, so their corruption impact is reduced to a minimum. But not only limited power, but also limited budget acce

This was written by Harald Schäfer, the CTO of comma.ai. I'm not so sure if G. Hotz is still involved in comma.ai.

Shall we ban sex too? Our bodies interact with extremely large amounts of elements in the environment and behavior that act beyond our conscious comprehension. Sometimes in our favour and some others against us. Banning everything that at

I would say there’s even less chance nowadays to generate a fully private set of European alternatives to American cloud offerings. Europes bureaucratization and the growth of the size of states has increased the last 10 years. I have less

I share your opinion. There's nothing worse than a State killing its own citizens, the ones the state had pledged to protect. But actually, the largest mass killings in history have been always performed by States against their own cit

This happened due to a change in regulation in Europe. Some airports, like AMS or MUC, invested on new machines with higher detection capabilities, and decided to allow all liquids and improve efficiency in boarding. The EU updated the rule

That’s what SAE L3/L4/L4 autonomous driving systems are about. The car takes full responsibility for a given set of conditions (ODD).

That’s basically what SAE L3 and above levels of autonomy mean. The manufacturer takes full responsibility of the driving while the function is active. I drove Mercedes and BMW L3 offering. Both had a really restricted ODD (Operational Desi

With batteries reaching 800-1000km per charge and most people doing around 30km a day of driving (way less for people living in dense areas), you basically only need to charge your car once every two weeks.

That’s not the idea of communism. That’s actually the point of libertarianism, anarchism: do what you want, but you will only do well if you get along with the rest of the society by providing something helpful to them, as no one is forced

The fascists were everywhere in the DDR: just called members of the party or as part of the Stasi. And I take the definition of fascists as anyone who prioritizes their political system, State or political view to a point of depriving any o

I am not so sure about it. EV dominance is not only defined by battery technology but also by ADAS functions, driving dynamics and many other considerations also common to ICE cars. In Europe, Chinese vehicles are only selling in any meanin

Definitely the world wouldn’t be better without all ads, because that would be a clear violation of free speech. However ads should be limited only to communication channels that are optional to engage in. As for example, an ad on YouTube,
