Openai is just playing catchup at this point, they completely lost thier way in my view. Anthropic on the other hand is very capable and given the success of claude code and cowork, I think they will maintain their lead across knowledge wor

I think the article has some truth but the author also ignores something important. Yes, subscription costs are going down. But there's a big difference between consumer and enterprise. Everyone needs to build fast now. A company canno

This is great. AI is too revolutionary to be in control of three closed models / companies. The more the merrier. (I know this is not a new model but it's not just about the model, it's about the entire ecosystem)

There's a balance between coding by hand and vibe coding that is important. The less you understand the code, the more boring maintaining the software becomes. It's OK for throw away code, but not for serious open source projects.

I'm not a big fan of this solution since it rewards people who knowingly did something that is illegal. It also allows businesses to take advantage of these people, unless you decide to give them legal status immediately. However, I ag

Well, if a Korean car factory worker live and work illegally in the country, then it makes total sense to remove them, regardless if they are serial killers or not. A company shouldn't even hire anyone who is not eligible to work legal

I don't have a horse in this race, but I do have a question. If you don't deport illegal immigrants, why not just open the border to everyone to come in? (let's ignore criminal records, etc for this exercise). What's the

I'm already using Claude Code to organize my work and life so this makes a lot of sense. However, I just tried it and it's not clear how this is different than using Claude with projects. I guess the main difference is that it can

Most companies will much rather have the problem of becoming profitable given amazing revenue growth than the problem of not having growth but being profitable. (e.g. Dropbox)

Microsoft is strange cause it reports crazy growth numbers for Azure but I never hear about any tech company using Azure (AWS and GCP dominate here). I know it's more popular in big enterprises, banks, pharma, government, etc. and comp

Anthropic is a $1T company in the making (by 2030), already raised their last round at ~$200B valuation. Do you really think Amazon can acquire them? They already invested a lot of money in them and probably own at least 20% of Anthropic, w

Well, integrations are also important. Currently everything works first with Github (Codex, Claude Code, Linear, etc. etc.) so it's just easier. There's also Gitlab for people who don't like Github. Personally for what I do,

That's somehow true for enterprise. OpenAI are still leading the consumer side by a large margin over Claude. I'm talking about adoption, not the models. Once they can monetize beyond subscriptions (ads, shopping etc) they will be

It's well known that they are doing around $10B in ARR. GCP was losing money for many years but now it's a cash cow. AI is following the same trajectory. Not all companies will sustain it, but that doesn't mean it's a bu

First, Andy led AWS to what it is today. Second, Amazon had a problem before Andy took over. Way too many managers and incompetent people in very senior levels. The fact that he's doing something about it is a good thing for Amazon. Yo
