The colleague who has to forcibly take all those back owed unemployment insurance premiums and no longer deductable business expenses from the affected cabbies has my deepest sympathies. Probably a few personal bankruptcies coming out of th

I often struggle with starting. And then when I have started often I get stuck. It's not an easy job where you can just keep going. There also things like building that can take ages. Sometimes I need to wait for questions. We might no

As much as everyone dislikes this episode in the history of social media I feel like fb is merely a catalyst. Why don't they go after the perps?

It's pretty simple. Sacrifice a lane to become a street or parallelweg as we call them here. Put a solid barrier in between the street and road portions. Have access points to the road only indirectly on sidestreets. This is how we &#x

A Dutch engineer maybe. The views on this topic are so extreme in my country i find it a bit creepy. I'm sure everyone involved thinks people should be able to die at the touch of a button. The rest is just there for compliance reasons

I'm not really comfortable with it. I chose the field because it is mostly attractive to stereotypical nerds and few others so I wouldn't be out of place. I suspect the fact that engineers especially get hit so hard with this dive

That road was a failed experiment. There's no parking space in the center. there aren't any big access roads towards it. There was little logic supporting a broad, short road to nowhere.

You might have a parallel street immediately next to the road but separate from it. That way people or business can be next to a road but will not block traffic. It's what we often do here. Those then will be connected to the road at s

I'm guessing EU aren't going to like this. Microsoft might not be the primary browser vendor anymore but this still is similar to stuff they've already been sued for. Also I figure that such a focus on retail shopping might a

I think there's definite limits to that. Like you can't expect to forever stay in Amsterdam center because you happen to live there now. Loads of others want your place and can contribute more. But it's not always the case. F

1000 kilometer in a 100km/h average German ICE (average on the trip I took including stops in between) is ten hours. Plane flying 900 can do it in one and a half. Even if it's the ideal center center trip and allowing for two hour

As the article says it's too expensive to do much of that. Maybe a little will be done, but those will just be slightly faster trains running at 200 kph, not like a bullet train. The EU has little money and the nationals invest mostly
