Well no. I don't think that this should be the reason. It makes altogether too much sense and removes all morality from the matter. It also lacks any zeal or conviction. It will also unfortunately convince nobody. The real reason is th

This is long overdue. Renting just isn't the same. I know the companies want to only do rent to make more money, but this should at least be represented accurately.

I think it's a very nice toy to play with. I definitely don't understand why people want to do anything useful with a toy. How much is it again? Ah it's Apple so no need to ask. See you when I make my first million.

Well I for one am glad bitcoin remains only as an asset for speculation, not a currency. I don't want 'currency without government'. Bitcoin as an alternative for the Swiss Banking system seems to have failed.

I was concerned about how signal was monetising. They barely receive any scrutiny and people take them at their word too much because they are supposedly non commercial. This basically confirms my suspicions

Europe isn't going to be happy about getting targeted twice in a day by the us. First for charging a digital tax and now for having low corporate tax. I think this kind of thing will drive apart NATO if the level of hostility continues

This sluice is ornamental. Water levels aren't any higher or lower before or after. The 'automated solution' would just be to open it most of the time and perhaps lay down a small footbridge so pedestrians and cyclists can s

I'm from the city in question and not that happy the municipality chooses to throw away money on a vanity campaign. If all they wanted was to transport fish this webcam wouldn't be necessary.

Not surprised. A guy like me will say anything, because I'm just a small guy and I do not care what women or their sjw friends think. But these are serious people who play the game. And they have serious money and a serious reputation

I think it will be used to squeeze guys with less intelligence or perhaps guys who are naive for a lot of cash. I do not think the rape problem which is already pretty well addressed by laws is worth 'solving' by handing women a t

Scandinavia also has decent public transport and bicycling infrastructure available for those who fail driving tests and/or can't afford a course. And I imagine such a life is still pretty bad.

I think fundamentally the difference is that the professor might not need you as much as you need them. They have their own research they want to be working on and students are little more than annoyances that need to be taken care of. For
