When I don't want to get real work done because i've entered a motivational recession I fire up Max/Msp. A visual programming languge is an extremely fun break/video game I find.

For someone (me) not particularly knowledgeable on the subject. I'm curious to understand the contrast between this and vowpal wabbit. Could someone offer an insight into when it would be useful to use this project as opposed to vowpal?

I feel like such an uber goober! I was installing a package that relied on a github file, which for obvious reasons failed....little did i realize that that was the problem, all I saw was such and such python error callback....doh!

Yes steve Jobs is influential and we all like him, and sure it's great to hear news about him...but this is just tabloids...it really ought not to be posted on hacker news
