This is a perfect example of why the USPS is on its way out. People haven't forgotten about the USPS. They simply naturally no longer have a need for it. We often check our mail once a week! Why? Because we don't get anything useful in t

Let them know you support what they're doing. They need to know their actions are supported, appreciated, and are noticed. We can't only draw attention to their negative actions, right?

How much did the MPAA pay for this article? No, seriously. Re-read the first 3 paragraphs. That is 100% paid for press.

You bring up a good point. Real everyday people aren't Facebook's customers, they're actually Facebook's product. But Facebook does impact the rest of society. Families are sharing photos with loved ones, important news with those far awa

I think today, startups and businesses are two different things. A business makes money. You see them all around you. Restaurants, companies that sell products (online and offline), web design firms, etc. These businesses impact the rest

Headline is incorrect. Article is about "codecademy", a Ney York based website, not "Code Academy", a Chicago based code instruction program. These 2 really need to differentiate their names more though.

I agree with your point about fragmenting content, but not about Netflix. The only reason I still pay $8/month for Netflix is their amazing mass of children's programming. I could do without the decade old movies.

With stories like this, I always wonder: do the executives have kids? What are those kids watching? Do they own Rokus? What about their friends, classmates, roommates, etc.? Do the executives really just keep the blinders on all the time

That's a really good point. A service like this has enough potential business use cases where I'm sure a lot of users would be willing to directly give them cash to ensure this is a long term company, not a flash in the pan startup. Makes y
