Honestly, and sadly, MS Word. I have a template for startup ideas that is many questions long. It is still easiest to fire up that document and go, where everything is set up with well-laid formatting and bullet points. I am probably bias

I interview a fair amount of people (3-5 a week), and most of this is solid advice. However, I'm not sure I agree with the section Getting Prepared for the Questions will Make you Sound “Rehearsed”: Wrong! I generally know when an answer

Can you explain more why? My monitor is 16:9, my iPad home button suggests is should be held 3:4, and at best is 4:3, which is not as well suited for side scrolling as modern monitors, which are wider than they are tall.

I think they've taken shots across the bow. Charging 30% for IAP right as they released iBooks was pretty squarely aimed at Amazon.

Agree with you totally, although I'd argue that mobile is most definitely the essence of Uber's business. If it weren't for the app I wouldn't use Uber; being able to see how far away my ride is and where it is right now is the only thing

Amazon is a giant company, so this statement is kind of broad, even in the context of engineering groups. I know plenty of engineering groups with people who have worked there 5-10 years, while others are a sausage factory of oncall hell,
