Actually, you can commit from github. Go to any file and hit Edit at the top right. It's a single file editor, so don't expect much out of it, but it is conceivable for someone to contribute without using git. And to your point, you cannot

Poor wording. It should be: > Last night, I needed a way for a webhook to be notified each time I posted a new tweet. Tweets can come from a variety of sources, so hooking in at the source isn't always possible or even reasonable.

Why would Google want to mine private video streams when they already have a whole library of static content in the form of YouTube? Besides just the privacy concerns, it would be easier to work with content that's sitting on a disk somewhe

It wasn't working for me before, but appears up now that I'm at home. I was on Georgia Tech campus (which I believe peers with Level3 for most commercial traffic), if that helps. Might have been a backend/infrastructure thing (like I hoped)

But to be fair, they've said everyone with a Facebook username gets username@facebook.com. You can visit a profile, look at the URL, and put 2 and 2 together. It'd be worse if it was a randomized, private email address that was made public.

They already do this to an extent with permissions. It's not as in-your-face about it, but it's certainly far more fine grained (read vs. write access, more services have permissions, etc.)

It sounds to me like you never played Diablo 2. The basis of that game was repeating through the same content (albeit with randomly generated maps) in search of better and better gear. This mechanic hasn't fundamentally changed in Diablo 3.
