Yes, but the attacker would need to inject code into every .gem file that's pushed to rubygems.org. Because that source code would be highly visible, it would be simple to figure out what they're trying to do. A more hidden attempt would be

Now would be a good time to build up a quick script to compare the last modification time of the files on S3 against the updated_at of any gem record in the system. If the delta is too long, that would be a candidate for deeper investigatio

Is it so crazy to offer an ad-free option? I see a video interstitial on nearly every YouTube video I watch. Maybe I'm not aware of the costs involved, but I feel like I would be willing to pay whatever the cost of those ads are back to You

I'm in Atlanta, so the winter doesn't get abnormally cold. But the current gauge goes down to 60 watts and I've seen the limited hover as near as 15 from the cold. The only worse I've seen is when the battery was full from a "Max Range" cha

Some of those are fixed in software (4.2 fixes the sunroof issue and deep-sleep related issues). Some are hardware issues that Tesla has been resolving on a case by case basis (door handles and charge ports). The regenerative breaking issue

I think this is inspired by the fullscreen mode in Wordpress. That's a good thing. Now I wish other places would incorporate this. I'd love a zen mode in Gmail, for instance.

Is anyone running the opposite setup? That is, Windows as the primary OS and Linux in a VM. I'm looking to upgrade my laptop soon and don't want to pay Apple's high prices, so I'm looking at 1080p Windows laptops. I'm considering Windows as

Interesting choice of framework, given that the PS3's YouTube application is built in AngularJS as well: http://blog.angularjs.org/2012/08/your-excuse-to-buy-playsta... Did you find any advantages to using AngularJS, or was it just coinci

His first bullet point talks about how that is not possible. While that does offer some protection from spammers, two wrong policies don't make a right business model.

Oh, that's my fault completely then. I misread it as the round itself being valued at $150m, not the company. That makes a lot more sense.

Any idea why they need $150m? Any thoughts on what that kind of cash would be used for? That could give you more employees than Twitter.
