Superior for who? For me Apple Music is the superior product.

As an alternative opinion I used both Apple Music and Spotify. Apple Music’s recommendation has been amazing for me, and Spotifys terrible and I have fairly strange tastes in music (play dark-Berghein techno, but then like exploring as many

Most evaluators? I have both, and for discovery spotify is way behind Apple Music, and i often find things on Apple Music that i cant get on Spotify. But one of those factors maybe my taste, but i have one friend with totally opposite taste

Stupid title. It would also let you create 2018 Electronic Music. Been using VCV rack for a bit and its fairly awesome (Usually over MIDI sequenced via BitWig).

This was more like the setup I was expecting when I clicked on the link, not some buying of UniFi and setting up a few VLANs and SSH Keys. I agree with you that they are great value but I find the noise and power consumption of that generat

Yeah that’s a good idea, I am sure there is a very good business model in sorting out the details, but the pain point has been that you have had to run these things yourself or pay a decent amount to get someone to run it for you. (See BBC

It’s a poor analogy because the original poster didn’t think about professional video such as live sports, music, news, broadcast productions as well as OTT. The metadata and analytics will be served by different solutions and products and

For anyone recommending .com one of the simple factors that it isn't often a good choice is people sitting on domain names for profit or other reasons. So either you have to think up a completely ridiculous name for your new service&#x

I think MySQL's advantage was that it was installed on some many hosting companies servers (along with PHP) that it became ubiquitous for many. Most DB admins that I knew could see no clear advantage of MySQL when we looked at the deta

70% of studios I have been in haven't had Genelec (europe). Though they seem to be big in broadcast studios and post-production places or those where people haven't auditioned a large number of monitors.

Out of all the monitors that I have used, I still don't get why people use Genelecs apart from the build quality. There are ATC, PMC, Amphion, BareFoot, Unity Audio, and many others that all sounds more revealing and better.

Same here with code and producing music... Yes knowing the speakers and the room is a very important aspect. Everyone I have worked with that uses NS10s is because they say they are very forward in the lower mids, not that they are good sp
