That's really just a question of trust. If you know what Composer is, you trust it. 'apt-get install whatever' is just as magically scary and dangerous.

Another day, another "Problems with PHP" article. Seems like everyone has to toss their hat into the ring. If someone were to write a "Problems with PHP and Proper Password Hashing" post it would be #1 for weeks!

I have no idea what your product does and I'm not inclined enough to sign-up (especially with my facebook account) to find out more. Why is "@bubbles" all over the place? You don't even own the Twitter handle.

Umm, unless they edited it since your post, 2^30 bytes is the correct definition of a Gigabyte. edit - Oh you're being pedantic about GB vs. GiB. Too bad in computer science, GB /means/ GiB. Besides, for folks like you, you get get a "free"

You seem to be missing the main reason why people have an issue with MemSQL. The issue are quotes like this on your website and video: "MEMSQL IS 30 TIMES FASTER THAN MYSQL." It's an extremely invalid and biased comparison. You're quite lit

So, basically, your gripe is their billing contains line-item entries towards phone service. If they were to simply not show you these and instead have: "DSL Service: $40. Taxes & Fees: $7.99" you would be happy? The same provisioning t

Would need to test it to verify but most companies based upon user-generated content will swap out your affiliate ID for their own. If not, they should be starting to do so :)

Great article but I have to wonder.. is it actually relevant today? With the huge demand for engineers and the utter lack of even somewhat qualified engineers, I wonder if people actually are still having a tough time landing a job?
