They provided some good products. I use Office 2019 daily and I used Windows for a decade or two. They do seem to have become more cash grabby in recent years.

Is that the right product though? I use office 2019 and that says to activate but mine's activated - I need something to stop the remotely bricking. Maybe deleting the updater will work? (as in https://osxdaily.com/2019

Not necessarily. In the UK: > Over one million young people in this country are now neither employed, in education nor in training... yet no starvation. I'm not sure it's a good situation but it is what it is.

I think they don't use starlink on those because it's too expensive / they don't have a enough. A roll of fiber is cheaper on a suicide drone.

I don't think the maths works like that. They have raised ~$200bn so far and need to make that back. Saying they need to make $5 to $10tn isn't really real. They might need that to meet some extravagant Altman projections but not

They'd be quite well off just now if they'd taken the resources spent invading Ukraine and spent them on developing their own country instead. Why they feel the need to keep invading everyone is a more interesting question.

Russia could end the war in Ukraine tomorrow by just going home. They could use nukes as part of their campaign of imperial expansion but they'd get a lot of push back from the rest of the world.

I'm not sure that's true. I own a flat in London and a couple in Spain. With the Spanish ones I have to do something every few years. I gather infants require more maintenance than that.

Capitalism tends to benefit most people, like capitalist enterprise makes food, clothing, cars and the like and most get some benefit. I'm not convinced by the on our expense bit on the whole. It can have glitches sometimes of course.
