Even though Common Crawl exists, if you wanted to get the data locally to have a bit of a poke around, it's practically impossible. The next search engine will never be made by a few kids playing around in the shed. The latest Common C

I had this extension on my Chrome browser a few years ago, and was dumbfounded when I thought that Chrome had added the ability to not only OCR PNG files - but also replace the text in them! Completely forgot that I installed this extension

I don't want to sound too snarky, but I don't think you got the point of my post. I love the M1, it's a great work machine, I have very few complaints about it. I hardly ever hit 100% memory usage, and if I do - it's tha

Not that I have noticed. Currently running 5.17.3-arch1-1. I don't usually push this machine too hard - maybe the most that I do is recompiling ffmpeg a few times a day, so it might just be a result of my usage patterns? I'll get

I recently acquired a ThinkBook 16p Gen 2, and while a different machine entirely to the ThinkPad, I must say that this is an _absolute beast_ of a machine. It's a total joy to use. It's the most fun I have had using a laptop sinc

The manufacturers of flagship Android devices are a major cause of this. I love being able to put an SD card in my phone to get a bit of extra storage, without paying Samsung the extra $200 to double the provided storage. In the S6 era, the

The Dell DA310 is the best all in one USB hub that I have ever purchased. Works fantastic on Apple devices. Been using a number of them for a decent amount of time. Sure, it also uses an RTL8153, and might need the Realtek drivers to work (

I have really been enjoying the gear that comes from FS (fs.com). Late last year I kitted out my home with a switch and two wireless access points. The switch (S3410-10TF-P) does everything that you expect a switch to do. It has a pretty si
