You're referring to the AP / FSD situation? I believe that was a misstep and was rectified. The "features" I'm talking about are different.

Repairability and features as software instead of hardware. For example, Tesla was able to enable Spotify in all its cars with an OTA update. Hell, you can enable rear heated seats in the Model 3 SR+ via an OTA.

Probably the one thing that bugs me about my M3. 90% of the time, it's fine... but that once or twice a week where I'm actively driving and need to turn on AC or whatever and have to navigate while trying to interact with the touc

> is exactly the kind of analogy that I would expect from one of Jeff Bezos' employees There are so many valid criticisms of Bezos, the companies he owns, etc. This is so unnecessary. The quoted line says nothing about Bezos.

You can avoid this dance all together by using `unknown` with more recent versions of TS. Think of `unknown` as a type-safe `any`.

People have gotten really good (i.e. it's their full-time job) at "gaming" Google. That's not to say Google is fallible - every search engine is game-able depending on its algorithm - it's just that these people are

I see comments like this all the time. Am I alone in that search results, for me, have gotten significantly _better_ since a couple years ago? I can't help but think it's partially due to people using tools _specifically designed_

Not really... why not have your objects as individual json or yml files instead of embedding them inside a markdown document? You're needlessly complicating the tool (both in terms of the usage and the tool itself)

I definitely agree there. Dials and knobs are great because you can operate them without looking away from the road. However, I can see why they went down that path - if everything is done via the screen, they can add features via an OTA up

Why use the doc as the template? Seems needlessly complicated. You can comment / document in yml which is supported by the `aws` tooling.

The thing I like the most about Tesla is the cars look futuristic without going _too far_. I feel like every other luxury EV company just goes off the deep end. The 3 and the modern S are the perfect design imo.

iirc they support games made with certain engines out-of-the-box. Ironically, I think I heard that it's the Unreal Engine (sorry, Epic Games Store...). AC:O and BL3 seem to support that theory.

Let's assume the worst. You buy in at $170. You subscribe for the 4k offering @ $10 / month. They shutter the service after 1 year after you've paid $120 in monthly fees. In total, you're out $290. You got a "free&

What's with this trend of blogs putting the full post in the catalog / archive view? It makes it hard to scroll through to find something worth reading - I just want to see titles and a snippet (a hook). If it's interesting,

Last year, I believe only one team even _tried_ an ML snake and they didn't make enough progress to actually compete. "Hand coding," so far, has been the way to go. Not sure if it's what you meant, but it's less &qu

Historically, they've recommended Heroku... however, their dynos have a cold-start problem, causing your snake to sometimes timeout. I would recommend using an AWS free-tier instance if you have the option.

The more you write SPAs, the easier it is to set up the next one... This whole "but SPAs are bad!" tirade a lot of people have been going on since a couple years ago stinks of people being nervous about their job security.
