Do we really want slow imports though? If you have a bunch of modules with async setup functions, would you not be able to Promise.all() them?

Caching the promise is a perfectly good solution. Locks aren't needed.

Then the journal could help you notice the problem and take action sooner. I've had a lot of stress at work. Here's how I dealt with it: I was once working for a boss who was really infuriating to deal with. To prevent myself fr

Not sure what you're implying about mononoke but the readme says: > The version that we provide on GitHub does not build yet. So, maybe eventually. They found that Git didn't do well at their scale, so they modified mercurial

What’s better than AirPods? And don’t suggest those rubber things that make weird sounds when I move. Apple earbuds are the only ones I know of that I can tolerate.

For me it’s not about style but practicality. Headphones are huge. AirPods are tiny. Rubber ear buds make weird squelching sounds when I walk. Apple earbuds are the only thing that works for me.

When I was working at Google I had to go through some training videos that explained that you should never bring corporate devices across the border for this very reason -- that they could be searched, thus breaking the NDA. They'll s

You don't have any rights at the border. The moment they decide to search you they will ask for your passwords. If you don't give it, they'll detain you until you do.

They should show just one account, but give it two passwords: a real one, and one that secretly takes you to a different account that's also customizable.

Is it not possible to create the other "fundamental" components using combinations of other components? I know with logic gates one might think of AND/OR/NOT as fundamental but yet one can make anything out of NANDs or

It's not really regional. I have noticed this most from folks who are transitioning genders. Some are OK with "they", but some prefer folks to go above and beyond to affirm their new gender, thus objecting to "dude&quo

This seems like the real answer to what folks are wondering about here. If they just acquired a bunch of companies there are going to be redundant roles to eliminate.

It’s not a salad if it’s a single cohesive unit. If you chopped it up, it could pass as a “turkey salad” I guess, in the sense of a potato salad, but that would still be a stretch.

Is it possible that the soil is also depleted of interesting nutrients and that the fertilizer isn't providing them either? Our understanding of what micronutrients humans need is not great. For plants, it may be even less understood.

Paper airplanes are generally symmetrical, which means you can begin by folding the paper in half and using that fold to determine where the nose is. Unless you mean something else?
