Thanks a bunch for your feedback. I totally agree and changed the title to "Fast Redis compatible server framework for Go".

This is not for recreating Redis, but for custom server implementations such as the Tile38 project, proxying services, and microservices that might need to use the RESP protocol.

Bunt is a purely in-memory database, but it also persists to disk so that the database can be reopened. It's a lot like Redis in this manner. Basically, BuntDB requires that data be persisted prior to completing a transaction. There is

There are plans for a frontend application with a simple command interface, and network support. Though for now it's a Go package that is intended to be imported into projects.

Thanks for the kind words. I really like Bolt. It's a wonderful library with an good API. I was inspired by the simplicity of it's transaction model. Both Bolt and Bunt are ACID, and both persist data to disk. The biggest differen

Thank you for the feedback. I like the idea of lifting the cap for number of dimensions. I hardcoded a limit of 4 to handle the standard XYZM, but the implementation could technically handle around 20.

I'm working on cluster enhancements with a raft quorum. This is still a work-in-progress but should be pretty cool when it's ready.

Thanks a ton for the kind words. I have a raft branch that I've been working on for a while, but the performance is not yet there. Currently the replication model is a good place to start with basic redundancy. The scaling features are

Shoot. I think I did a no-no. I kept the same title as the previous discussion. This new post is a link to an entirely new documentation website for the project, not just a Github link. People asked about robust docs for the project and I&#

You bring up a good point. This is a subjective statement that I made. While I feel that it's a feature to have good performance, it's certainly something that should have a benchmark tool to back it up. I'm going to generate

Dead code elimination is built in, but not super duper yet. There's daily updates to the project and it seems to get tighter every week.
