Same! I got mine around March 2022. I've only used it a few times, but it makes me far more likely to actually go skiing and not feel like I've just dropped too much money for a few hours of fun.

Having a UMIK-1 measurement microphone for use with REW (or similar) has been really great for my year. I'm building a recording studio at home, and having the quick ability to capture and measure data about my room over time has been

I met someone recently who had their life likely saved by one of these. I guess they had a collision that launched them off some height of an overpass. They were still messed up of course, but survived and are well now. I'm inspired to

A really nice car phone mount with Qi/wireless charging was great for me. I've hated most of them I've used, finding them flimsy or just awkward. With this, I just throw my phone on there and go. https://www.proc

I've been carrying around my FlipperZero, but aside from playing with some NFC cloning haven't found much real use for it. What are some of the more fun things you've done?

I had one of these in the 90's! My father and I put it together, got it working and went to fly it. Unfortunately on its first voyage he crashed it pretty hard into the ground and it wasn't to fly again. I was pretty sad (10 years

I want to be shocked that 4 SC Justices thought that those annotations were copyrightable. How is this not obviously public data? Legislatures are on our payroll and work for the people.

I really liked Netware 4/5 era. I got my basic Novell certs in high school and did a lot of administration work with it around then. I always liked their file/resource permissions system, including how its inheritance worked - far

Curiously, ChatGPT falls on its face with about half of these that I checked. It was confidently wrong about them too, but tried its logic again when I corrected it. YMMV. So if your calculator is a huge neural net, maybe the problems aren&

For certain types of software, like audit editing, I am definitely tired of subscription models. I'm looking at you Avid - I just want to be able to buy a version and have reasonable support for 3-5 years, and then a small paid upgrade

What creates this imbalance? Don't more men die from accidents, and there's a slightly lower (like 0.5%) number of male people born? Is there some part of the country with far more women?
