8GB feels like the base model car. It technically gets you there, but you should probably opt for at least the most minimal of upgrades.

Having one way to deploy software is great. If I want to run 10 different home services (Pihole, Minecraft server, Plex, whatever), I'd prefer to not need different ways of updating/backing up/provisioning each. Ideally K8s w

Could there be a suit against them over this? I bought one explicitly for home automation, and it seems them disabling it turns that into some sort of false advertising

The only negative thing I can say about HASS is that getting it running in Kubernetes with a USB Zigbee/Zwave adapter is a real pain. I've got a local cluster and had it working once, but had to rebuild everything for some unrelat

I'm not sure I agree. Arduinos made by other companies aren't emulations. They can still be true implementations and feature compatible.

My experience with blood pressure measurements is that no matter what I’ve ate/drank, or how fast I walked down the hall in the Dr’s office my BP is never over 120/80. If mine did jump, even at one appointment, it would stick out

Agreed. I think many of these books were written by people who knew the subject themselves, and were just putting their knowledge on the page without much of a feedback and testing loop to see if it was using a method that transferred to a

I hate trash talking someone's hard work, but Andre's books actively set me back as a programmer and made me feel stupid. I'm glad they worked for some people, but they really shouldn't have sold themselves as for anyone

Is it just me, or were so many books from this era just outright bad? I spent a few years teaching at General Assembly, and in that time I learned so much about pedology, how I often learn, how others learn, and that I can't always ass

Do we know how the unions are asking people to interact with media companies, streaming services and films? Would they prefer people avoid them, cancel services, and avoid buying tickets for the moment as a form of picket line? I don't

Do you know why they choose the UAW? It seems a really strange fit. The choice of what union to affiliate with, and selecting their rules is something that should have been done carefully, and with the needs of the membership in mind.

One thing to keep in mind is that the union is presumably made of their members, and should act in alignment with some decision making process they arrive at together. Bargaining and figuring out goals shouldn’t be something for just the Ba
