Seems reasonable for a freelancer. If you're doing less, you can work easier and worry-free as an employee. I'm 19yo, building software as a freelancer and earn 520$/day. If it would be less, I would try to get an employment.

I'm currently using NativeScript and react-native for app development and I have to comment because items like <ListView> [1] and Grid-Layouts [2] can be done using both technologies which use native rendering and achieve 60 FPS.
