We don't understand it, either. The fund is growing--good to see that!

Well you made it to the top of "Ask" this time. Congrats. ;) Looks nice and clean. Good luck!

I've been reading their primary job board for a long time, and looking at this site I realized that I do miss seeing the cities listed. It may seem paradoxical but I did like to know at a glance where the company was located, among oth

I'd say that about most job postings, remote or otherwise. Except for those SF jobs, with the whiskeys and the toys and such. I need to get one of those.

My guess: now, profitability. Later, competition (and intervention).

Have you already looked into other discussion boards more focused on this topic? I'm thinking of business magazine forums (if any of those are still around, BW/Entrepreneur/Inc.-type publications), LinkedIn, franchise-related

I went looking recently because I thought there were additional articles written as a series (eight maybe?), but couldn't find them.

My reflex is to say it's the opposite of whatever I am. But according to this article, I'm pretty darn good!

Maybe, but what is the effect of singing, dancing, and laughter on humans? Not to mention building cultural bridges...

Agreed. Having a store within walking distance makes it easy and fun to go several times a week. Fresh air and exercise is a nice bonus (I don't know why more people don't take advantage of it in my neighborhood).

I agree, and wish more common sense was exercised in this area, but unfortunately there are many concepts in the community that are just adopted wholesale.

Do you have any advice for getting a (good) place without knowing anyone there, and without giving an arm to a broker? I tracked Craigslist ads daily for all of those neighborhoods a couple of years ago when I was considering relocating, an

Ha, was thinking about Adobe already, too. Users will rue the day. But for the founders' benefit: hey Adobe, go look at their Kickstarter. Why don't you just acqui-hire these guys right now?

A tangent, but that brings me back to this again: "Kickstarter cannot be used to fund websites or apps focused on e-commerce, business, and social networking." It's a weird rule. This tool has business applications, no? (Also

What about the Mongo dependency? I like Meteor, but that's one concern.

Do you think maybe it's a self-selected audience? Like these are the people that know and love you as a self-hosted product, and now you need to reach a different, more SaaSy crowd?

Pretty sure you're right, based on some other articles I read. But one consideration: https://medium.com/p/2a48bc6ffd57 I'm kind of surprised that Kickstarter gets as much discussion in some circles as they d
